Almond Butter Omelet Recipe

This omelet is  a simple combination of protein and healthy monounsaturated fats that make for the perfect snack.

What you'll need
  • 12 Egg Whites
  • 2 Tablespoons of Almond Butter or Nut Butter
  • 1 Teaspoon of Cinnamon
  • Dash of Stivia, Agave, or Splenda

Instructions
In a blender place the egg whites, cinnamon, and sweetener of choice and blend for 20 seconds. Once everything is blended together, pour into a pre-heated  frying pan that has been heated on medium heat. Cook the omelet for approximately 4 to 5 minutes until the entire omelet is almost solid with a nice golden brown crust on the bottom. Once this is complete, you will fold the omelet in half and spoon 2 tablespoons of almond butter on top. Let sit for another 2 minutes so that the omelet is completely cooked and the almond butter is warm. Plate and enjoy
