Our good friends from the Buckeye state of Ohio inspired me to create a Canadian version of the classic chocolate and peanut butter dessert that won’t hurt your diet. This can hardly be called dessert and should be referred to as a muscle building snack that will fuel your muscles for hours and trick your mind into thinking that it’s getting delicious full flavor chocolate treats.
How to make: Place 2 scoops of chocolate whey isolate protein into a mixing bowl (Any brand). With a tablespoon stir in 1 rounded tablespoon of nut butter (I used Almond Butter). The mixture will be dry to start, so you’ll need to add a couple of drops of water to the mix. Slowly add water as you continue to mix until the mixture reaches a thick fudge like texture. Once everything is mix together consistently, spoon bit-size amounts of the mix onto a baking sheet or flat surface to place in the freezer. Let stand in the freezer for 1 to 2 hours and you’ll be ready to enjoy.
Each Batch will make approximately 6 Canadian Buckeyes with the following macros: 320 Calories, 52 grams of Protein, 4 grams of Carbs, 10.5 grams of fat, 1 gram of sugar
